Bernie started her career as a Certified Internal Auditor at Anglo American and it was here that she honed her skills of analyzing businesses and implementing improvements. For over 25 years, she has supported Managing Directors, Finance Directors and Systems managers in large corporates and SME’s. She has been approved as a Growth Coach in the UK as well as being an approved and active Business Startup Mentor. Bernie originally founded EVBS at the request of several Chartered Accountants who quickly recognised her skills in being able to support their client base. With a strong financial and IT background combined with her drive and enthusiasm for success, EVBS grew from strength to strength. It was soon consulting to the likes of Price Waterhouse Coopers as well as numerous SME’s. Today EVBS has helped over 1000 business leaders develop their companies in various ways. Bernie is married with 4 children and loves cycling and playing squash. She feels that life needs to be enjoyed and is passionate about helping people to minimise business stresses and improve profits to maximise their quality of life.
Neil has been working as a Project Manager for the past 15 years following a successful career in Supply Chain. He is Prince 2 Qualified in Project Management and has worked for 2 of the largest employers in Kent being Brakes and P&O Ferries.
Neil has managed all sizes of Projects with teams from 3 – 30 people, working across all business functions and at all levels of the organisation. He is equally capable of redesigning processes with operational staff as he is at providing Project updates to Executive Boards.
He is passionate about delivering results, a discipline that he learnt from his early days working in time critical operations. Neil feels Project Management can often be over complicated and he takes a pragmatic, logical and flexible approach to delivering his projects.
Away from the world of Project Management Neil is very family orientated and also enjoys keeping fit and playing golf. Despite his Project Management skills and passion for delivering results the single figure handicap still just eludes him though!
Hannah has worked for EVBS for over 8 years providing bookkeeping, payroll, cash flow and office administration services. She works both with clients on site or remotely from EVBS offices.
Prior to joining EVBS, Hannah started her career at GEC Avionics Ltd working in various administration and support roles dealing with training, event organisation and graduate placements. Having taken a career break to start a family, she then returned to work for a family business and became the Office Manager. Her responsibilities included bookkeeping, payroll, HR, stock management, customer liaison and marketing.
When she is not helping clients with their books, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family as well as socialising with friends, attending live music events, festivals and sports events.
